Summary: | The thermoelectromotive force supplied by the junction of an amorphous-crystalline wire thermocouple was measured as a function of temperature in the range 300-573K. The effect of chromium addition to the Fe sub 79 Si sub 5 B sub 16 alloy on the temperature dependence of the thermoelectromotive force of the amorphous-crystalline thermocouples was studied. The thermoelectromotive force was found to decrease with increasing Cr content of the alloy. |
