Summary: | See Met. A. 199405-56-0503. Technological parameters of ion nitriding, particularly temperature, composition of nitrogen-argon saturated medium pressure and duration of the process are studied for their effect on damping (logarithmic decrement of oscillations) of specimens of 45 steel and titanium BT1-0 alloy under conditions of their flexural oscillations. The method of the experiment design attracting the Hartly plain of the second order is used for this case. It is established that nitriding in a waterless saturated medium provides an increase of damping properties in steel 45 to six times and in alloy BT1-0 to 1.5 times. The experimental data allow obtaining the regression equations for finding the dependences including for specimens of steel 45 with maximums between a level of oscillation decrement and parameters of technological nitriding process with their subsequent optimization for obtaining the largest values the oscillation decrement. |
