Summary:Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), the virus that causes coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), has been associated with a broad spectrum of cardiac manifestations ranging from myocardial injury and heart failure to cardiac arrhythmias. In this report, we present a rare case of sinus node dysfunction/asystole in a young patient without any known history of coronary artery disease or cardiac arrhythmias, which necessitated pacemaker placement.
