Influence of the Double-Layer Capacity in Periodically Changing Rate Metal Electrodeposition
The departure of the faradaic current from the total imposed periodically changing current has been investigated for both an ideal system (dummy cell) and a real system (Cu electrodeposition in acidic CuSO sub 4 solution). Great similarity in the behaviour of the two systems was found. A simple way...

Summary: | The departure of the faradaic current from the total imposed periodically changing current has been investigated for both an ideal system (dummy cell) and a real system (Cu electrodeposition in acidic CuSO sub 4 solution). Great similarity in the behaviour of the two systems was found. A simple way is demonstrated to determine the upper frequency limit beyond which the beneficial effect of periodically changing range metal electrodeposition on the quality of the deposits can be obtained. 15 ref.--AA |
