Summary:We serendipitously come upon a saltwater pool that has formed away from the shore. Cautiously my friend and I explore the area because it looks so fragile. Tiny fish swim in this temporary home. Just beyond, I see a small lake surrounded by saw palmettos and a thick scrub undergrowth. As my companion takes pictures, I stand at a point between the two contrasting natural areas-one lush and green with deep indigo water, and the other sugar white and aqua blue-and marvel at nature's glory.
