Summary:Recently our research team has begun the study of a new line of investugation on housing. Our analyses on deployable structures as well as the experience of other investigators in this field led us to the study of the deployability of planes. By now the X-frame systems and the like have been studied in themselves aiming at some solutions of covering, generally based on textiles. Our intention is to look for structures deployably in themselves; the idea of deployability of rigid planes. In a very short time we have observed the necessity of simplifying the typologic outlines since the possibility of prefabricating small artefact-dwellings based on these concepts is one of the objetives of our investigation. So we began the study of the concept of mobility of planes which gave birth to the first formal solutions. The constructions problems are another aspect that will have great importance in these prototypes. Economic and other aspects are also being considered. The vocation of the applied research that gives birth to these studies leads as to experiment in our own contructions are architects. Some examples as commented on m this article.
