Summary:I've been singing the national anthem in public since I was 8. I've sung at Trail Blazers games, pro boxing matches, motocross events, college basketball games, the Policeman's Ceremony of Valor in Portland. I've sung the song, gosh, a million times. Never had I forgotten the words until April 25, right before the Trail Blazers' playoff game against the Mavericks at The Rose Garden.
