Summary:The prime minister’s deal was dismissed brutally this week. There are healthy majorities for this course of action in the prime minister’s backyard of Maidenhead, and clear majorities in the seats represented by the former foreign secretary, Boris Johnson, the previous Brexit secretaries, David Davies and Dominic Raab, as well as the likes of Michael Gove – still in cabinet.
