Summary:[John Opit]: How can you judge if a [Paul Cezanne] is a Cezanne from a photograph? If they can judge if the Cezanne is a Cezanne from a photograph they must be the greatest experts on art the world has ever seen, much greater than the great masters of art who did the painting. JOHN OPIT: Because if I have to examine the painting myself, I have to have the painting in front of me and use special equipment to identify who did it. I can't look at a photograph and say 'oh this is Renoir' or 'this is not a Renoir' or 'this is a Cezanne or not a Cezanne' by looking at a photograph. Whoever your experts that look at a photograph and says that is his work or isn't his are pulling the public's leg for certain and they shouldn't be experts.
