High-Temperature Heat Capacity and Thermodynamic Properties of Oxide Compounds of Bi sub( 2)O sub( 3) - PbO
Bi sub( 12)PbO sub( 19) and Bi sub( 5)Pb sub( 3)O sub( 10.5) oxide compounds were obtained by the solid phase synthesis. Temperature dependence of their molar heat capacity was determined with the use of differential scanning calorimetry. It has been found that in the case of Bi sub( 5)Pb sub( 3)O s...

Summary: | Bi sub( 12)PbO sub( 19) and Bi sub( 5)Pb sub( 3)O sub( 10.5) oxide compounds were obtained by the solid phase synthesis. Temperature dependence of their molar heat capacity was determined with the use of differential scanning calorimetry. It has been found that in the case of Bi sub( 5)Pb sub( 3)O sub( 10.5) the curve Cp = f(T) has an extremum at 686 K associated with a change of its structure. Thermodynamic properties of these compounds were calculated from the experimental data. |
