Summary:Catalogue to an exhibition of drawings and photographs by the Icelandic artist Inga Svala Thorsdottir (b.1966). There are two texts. Uhr explains how Thorsdottir's practice of using drawing as a means of exploring mankind's relationship with the natural world, and her interest in the composition of materials, are reflected in her recent project Thor's Daughter's Pulverization Service, which centres on the planning of a new town on virgin territory in her home country. Dany describes in the form of a narrative Thorsdottir's relocation to Hamburg and the economic development of her pulverization concept, highlighting her adoption of the role of scientist and humorous play with Icelandic sagas. He concludes by commenting on her vision of designing an organic city for 1,000,000 inhabitants connected to the Icelandic capital by the very first railway system in Iceland.
