Summary:ONLINE ONLY. "The paper briefly describes the technology of a foundation-shell on the tamped soil base engineering. The method of design of stamp parameters that provide compaction of soil «core» and its safety when a stamp tearing off with an uplift. From the results of site tests, the design formula is suggested to evaluate the foundation load capacity by the tamping results. The results of the investigations of the soil mass compacted zone form show the cumulative effect due to a stamp form, and the boundary of the compacted zone doesn't go out of the stamp base contour. Recommendations for the evaluation of the expected settlement are given."
