Summary: | The Furthering Life Cycle Considerations Through Integrated Product Policy (FLIPP) program is a research program sponsored by the International Institute for Industrial Environmental Economics (Lund University) and the Environmental Systems Analysis at Chalmers Institute of Technology. The program aims to identify the dynamics and mechanisms that support complex product chains in order to identify opportunities to intervene, refine, and improve these chains. In this process, the interactions between the government agencies and product chains are elucidated, and the prerequisites for integrated product policy (IPP) are identified. Seven research projects are underway, assessing different links in the product chain and different stakeholder interactions. |
