Summary: | Amelogenesis imperfecta is a hereditary disorder expressing a group of conditions that cause developmental alterations in the structure of enamel. Amelogenesis imperfecta is a serious problem that reduces oral health-related quality of life and causes some psycological problems. The treatment of patients with amelogenesis imperfecta may upgrade the quality of life and reinforce their self-esteem. Among the treatment options for amelogenesis imperfecta, fullmouth metal reinforcedporcelain restoration constitutes an important alternative because of its properties.
