Summary:Reports on the special exhibition Talente held at the Internationale Handwerksmesse München in Munich (8-14 March 2001), which featured works by over 100 contemporary artists and designers from 25 countries. The author describes the double-walled porcelain bowls Metamorphosis (illus.) by Kathrin Reiher, Werkzeuge by Marie-Luise Meyer, the textile artist Ute Wolff s work Fil à Fil, die Sprache des Fadens, and furniture designs by René Chyba. She also considers ornamental necklaces by Judith Höfel, necklaces by Claudia Stebler composed of silver loops and coloured plastic studs made from felt-tip pen cartridges, rings and bangles by Bianca Stöckmann, and spiral-shaped bowls by Silja Knab. She concludes by discussing Jürgen Reichert's silicone objects Lichtwesen, and Katja Höltermann's Sensibles Trinkgefäss.
