Summary: | At the outset, rather than following the pragmatic impulses in the sea of changes as the (late- or post-) moderns are prone to do, my goal was to assemble a team of several NAPCE colleagues to contribute articles addressing several pervasive socio-cultural motifs and shifts of the post-Christian world that we must reckon with as the North American evangelical church. What follows in the special focus section is the result of my modest attempt to solicit several esteemed colleagues to creatively share small soundings from their own perspectives to invite readers to draw their attention to the post-Christian conditions, particularly as they relate to the educational ministries of the church. |
