Summary:Near talks about the Montana Historical Society's largest event and biggest fund-raiser of the year--the Western Rendezvous of Art. Among other things, held in Helena each Aug, the four-day Rendezvous is an art extravaganza highlighting the work of nationally recognized artists who are members of the Northwest Rendezvous Group or its invited guests. Although the art show and "quick draw" are the biggest attractions, the Rendezvous offers numerous other fun activities: a western barbecue held at the Society, an artists' gathering and awards banquet, and the grand finale--the gallery art sale.
