Summary: | Electric vehicles are landscaping the automobile sector with environmental concern and impact of gas emission. This paper describes the need of electric vehicles, components used in the manufacturing and its block diagram interconnection for its working and implementation. The main heart of any electric vehicle is the motor, therefore its selection criteria, technical aspects required to be studied are explained in detail in this review paper. The detailed evaluation of motor selection, technical aspects and latest developments in it are discussed. A comparative analysis of different motors used for electric vehicle propulsion system and their application are reviewed in depth. The review paper provides a detailed comprehensive study of the motors used in the future of vehicle technology i.e. Electric vehicle. |
