Summary:ObjectiveTo investigate the psychological status of anxiety and depression of peasant workers and their influencing factors during the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19), so as to provide references for the prevention and treatment of psychological problems of peasant workers in public health events. MethodsUsing the convenient sampling method, peasant workers from a town in Hanzhong region of Shaanxi Province were chosen as the research object. Self-rating Anxiety Scale (SAS) and Self-rating Depression Scale (SDS) were used to investigate the anxiety and depression of peasant workers in the form of electronic questionnaire. ResultsThe scores of SAS and SDS were (44.25±8.77) and (47.50±10.55) during the COVID-19 epidemic. The detection rates of anxiety and depression were 19.09% and 25.45%, respectively. The risk factors of anxiety in peasant workers were unmarried (β=-4.152, 95% CI: -6.199~-3.352, P<0.01), low monthly income (β=-1.740, 95% CI: -2.301~-1.442, P<0.01), female (β=5.022, 95% CI: 3.612~6.256, P
