Summary:This study investigated spiritual well-being as a moderator between the COVID-19 pandemic and the mental health of working women. It is hypothesized that higher levels of spiritual well-being will attenuate the negative impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the mental health of working women. Adopting a cross-sectional research design, data were collected from working women engaged in different professions. Moderated regression analysis exhibited that the COVID-19 pandemic resulted in poor mental health and spiritual well-being attenuated the relationship between the two study variables, demonstrated that spiritual well-being did act as a buffer in the relationship between the two study variables. Insights derived from the study will help the management of the organizations and mental health professionals in designing proper programme and intervention strategies to address mental health issues.
