Summary: | Nathan Sherman's article, 'The Wapping Baptists: The Varied Location of a Unified People', won the 2022 International John Bunyan Society Roger E Pooley Early Career Essay Prize, and we are delighted to include it in this issue. After three years as Associate and then Managing Editor of Bunyan Studies, Robert W. Daniel is stepping down from the role, and from the International John Bunyan Society Committee where he was General Secretary from 2019 to 2022. After taking early retirement from Northumbria University due to ill health last year, David Walker has now also stepped down from the Bunyan Studies Editorial Team. During David's time as an Editor, the journal was generously supported by the Research Committee of the Department of Humanities in the Faculty of Arts, Design, and Social Sciences at Northumbria. |
