Summary: | Marx and Engels affirmed Proudhon's What is Ownership's concern about poverty in The Holy Family. Marx and Engels co-wrote The Holy Family for the first time. It was not entirely because they had reached an agreement on critical speculative idealism, nor on political economy critique, but because they had a high degree of agreement on the problem of proletarian poverty. The deep-seated basis that this consensus on the status quo of the poverty of the proletariat can be truly established is their common historical materialism proposition based on the mass practice activities. The poverty of the proletariat not only presents the realistic starting point for their cooperation, but also reveals their realistic concerns in exploring the complete emancipation of the proletariat.
