Summary: | The present study investigated the relationship between Green Human Resource Management (GHRM) practices with employee retention tn the IT Industry of North India. The study also checked the mediating effect of Job satisfaction and organizational commitment in the relationships of GHRM practices with employee retention. Data were collected from 328 IT employees through a self-administered questionnaire. SPSS (PROCESS Macro) and AMOS were used for analyzing the data. The results of the research show a positive but insignificant association between GHRM practices toward employee retention. However, the study found a significant positive irfluence of GHRM practices onjob satisfaction and organizational commitment to employee retention. The study also reported the parallel mediation of Job satisfaction and organizational commitment tn the relationship between GHRM practices and employee retention. The findings of the study have contributed theoretically and practically towards improving employee retention. |
