Summary: | Nonspecific neck problems are among the most common cause affecting 14-71% of adult age group, which leads to potential discomfort in daily living. The current study aims to know the impact of Myofascial release technique in patient with nonspecific neck pain on pressure pain threshold, NDI and visual analogue scale.100 subjects with nonspecific neck pain were included. The subjects were assigned into 2 groups control (n = 50) and intervention (n = 50). The intervention group received Myofascial release technique and control group received basic exercise therapy. Pain intensity and neck mobility were measured using Pressure Pain Threshold (PPT), Neck disability index (NDI) and Visual analogue Scale (VAS). |
