Summary: | One of the most essential results that may be achieved through the public transportation system is accessibility to public transport. The provision of "Door-to-door mobility" can make public transportation more enticing, and expanding transportation services improves civic quality. Access to public transportation has emerged as a significant component in transit system development and evaluation, particularly in terms of its influence on mobility and sustainability. The accessibility of public transportation, in addition to the transportation system itself, has a substantial impact on life satisfaction. This impact manifests itself as a perception of accessibility.Several studies have found many effects of public transit on the ecosystem and daily life. All of these would impact public health and other areas. Additionally, the literature revealed that researchers were interested in investigating the association between the accessibility of public transportation and the availability of job prospects.Public involvement in social events has been based on the accessibility of public transit, and a tight link between the two has been uncovered in the context of the problem of social exclusion. In this article, an overview of the relevant previous research on the accessibility of public transportation is presented. It's significant to point out that when building public transportation facilities, it's important to think about not only how well public transportation works, but also how it affects other parts of society. |
