Summary: | Paracetamol is one of the largest used antipyretic, needed to reduce the body temperature in situations such as fever. Commercial paracetamol (tablets) have been investigated using FT-Raman, Raman and further used for surface enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) on Ag colloidal nanoparticles. The active compound present in tablets could be accurately identified and monitored even through the blaster pack. The SERS spectra of paracetamol of different concentration have been obtained and discussed. |
