PM.2.8. Analiza factorilor de risc clinici și patologici pentru managementul cancerului de prostată localizat cu risc crescut tratat prin prostatectomie radicală

Clinical parameters (age, serum PSA, clinical tumor stage T) and also preoperative (biopsy Gleason score) and postoperative parameters (extraprostatic extension, invasion of seminal vesicles, presence of positive margins or positive lymphadenopathy) were analyzed. In the multivariate analysis, the c...

Summary:Clinical parameters (age, serum PSA, clinical tumor stage T) and also preoperative (biopsy Gleason score) and postoperative parameters (extraprostatic extension, invasion of seminal vesicles, presence of positive margins or positive lymphadenopathy) were analyzed. In the multivariate analysis, the clinical tumor stage T > cT3a was associated with a 4.71-fold increase in the risk of unfavorable pathological outcome (OR: 4.71, 95% CI: 1.23-18, p = 0.02) and bilateral extraprostatic extension was associated with a 3.64-fold increase in the risk of biochemical recurrence (OR: 3.64, 95% CI: 1.20-11, p = 0.02). In our cohort of patients with CPRC treated by radical prostatectomy, clinical tumor stage (cT) assessed by digital rectal evaluation and bilateral extraprostatic extension detected in the pathological assessment of radical prostatectomy specimen were the only predictors for an unfavorable pathological outcome and biochemical relapse.
