Summary:Palavras-chave: turismo virtual, análise bibliométrica, covid-19 Abstract: Virtual tourism is currently a reality that has been making progress in particular with the need to redefine the strategy for tourism caused by the emergence of Covid-19. Data from the scientific production of the Scopus database were collected using the keywords "Virtual" and "Tourism". The study includes descriptive analysis and co-occurrence analyzes of terms and keywords using the VOSviewer software. The results show that the interest of researchers in the topic of virtual tourism increased in the year 202021, a period in which a pandemic occurred and that the main areas of research are related to technologies such as virtual reality, augmented reality, 3D, information technologies. alongside themes such as cultural heritage and sustainable tourism development.
