Summary:Context. The internet and artificial intelligence have developed spectacularly in recent years. No more talking about the House of the future because we can build our smart homes today. With the evolution of the Internet of Things (IoT), smart home has evolved from concept to a set of tools and applications that make our lives easier and safer. A smart city or smart city is an urban development concept that integrates technologies and systems to effectively and securely manage the resources of a city, in order to improve the quality of life of Citizens, Community Development and Environmental Protection. Materials and methods. The smart home is equipped with intelligent equipment (electronics, household appliances, heating systems, security, media, etc.) that can be centrally controlled and controlled through a software program. They can be managed remotely, through internet applications, and locally by touch switches that interpret gestures or palm positioning, through voice interaction with smart devices. A smart city implies the existence of an integrated information system comprising a multitude of subsystems of cloud computing, Internet of Things (IoT), Open Data, Big Data and mobile applications, connected to the internet through secure networks. They allow local government to interact directly with citizens and the infrastructure of the city. Results and discussions. Future homes will be able to provide almost all the necessary services, for example, communication, medical services, energy, utilities, entertainment and security. Current trends in smart home Research imply that medical services will receive greater emphasis in the future. One of the main objectives will be the provision of support services for the elderly and disabled. These networks will act as a platform for local authorities and utility providers to gain easy access to each home for service delivery and payment transactions. From the perspective of the owner of the house, a networked house a FERA emergency telemedicine services, assistance in case of natural disasters, provision of timely sensitive information from the Department of law enforcement and social assistance from local authorities. Conclusions. In the future, smart homes will be connected to different service providers for automation and optimization of services. The smart grid is one of the latest examples of service integration, which is aimed at optimizing electricity consumption according to electricity consumption and production capacity. Smart homes will gain massive popularity in the future, as current trends indicate that they are becoming the center of smart service consumption.
