Summary:Salar del Hombre Muerto, Cazadores-recolectores, Puntas triangulares apedunculadas, Holoceno temprano Abstract We present the results obtained in the investigation of an open-air archaeological site (SHM-S2-s2) located in the southwestern slopes of the cerro Ratones (Salar del Hombre Muerto, bordering area of the provinces of Salta and Catamarca). In order to analyze the morphological variability of these points, we used a univariate statistical test, comparing them with similar artifacts from other NOA sites. Salar del Hombre Muerto, Hunter-gatherers, Non-stemmed triangular points, Early Holocene Introducción Los estudios arqueológicos en la Puna del noroeste de Argentina (NOA) cuentan al presente con una larga trayectoria histórica. El espacioso salar del Hombre Muerto, el segundo en extensión en la República Argentina, es una de esas áreas de la Puna con un gran potencial de investigación que hasta el presente no fue explorada ni estudiada en profundidad.
