Summary:Materials and Methods: The study group included 100 female patients of acne vulgaris who came to outpatient department of the department of skin and venereology and dermatology Tertiary Hospital, Ludhiana in a study period of 1 year. Exclusion Criteria The following criteria were excluded from the study: * Current use of Vitamin A supplements body mass index>30 kg/m2 * Previously diagnosed thyroid or pituitary disease * CAD * DM * CRF * Rheumatic disease * Pregnancy * History of psychiatric, mood, and depressive disorders * Mild acne * Poorly compliant patients. Sample Collection Blood samples were collected in a dry disposable syringe under aseptic conditions by vein puncture in antecubital vein in a sterile dry, acid washed plain, and sodium oxalate and ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid vials. Out of 100, only 93 female patients reported after 12 weeks for estimation of TSH. [...]93 female patients were considered for study before (group A) and after treatment (group B).
