Summary:This study extends Thatte and Agrawals (2017) research which found positive impact of operations system responsiveness (OSR) and supplier network responsiveness (SNR) on competitive advantage (CA) and Thatte et al.s (2013) research which found positive associations between supply chain management (SCM) practices, supply chain responsiveness (SCR), and CA. Item level regression analysis used in this study found essential OSR and SNR measures that increase CA and its dimensions. Useful implications of the findings are drawn and discussed.
