Summary:FIFA 11+ training program has been recognized as an effective means of prevention and treatment for obesity. The FIFA 11+ is a low-to-moderate exercise intensity and with a higher fat oxidation rate than other aerobic exercise intensities. This study aimed to investigate the effect of 12 weeks of the FIFA 11 + training program on body mass index )BMI( and physical fitness among obese adolescents. The study included 20 obese adolescents showed that physical fitness improved )p = 0.004( and BMI decreased )p = 0.02( significantly before and after intervention. Food intake as a confounding factor was found as a predictor which decreased the BMI )0.74 kcal/day; p = 0.00( better than exercise )0.38 kcal/week; p = 0.176(. Obese adolescents and the whole family need to be given an understanding that diet and exercise are not completed when weight loss can be achieved, but calorie restriction must be carried out and become a daily habit.
