Summary:The spontaneous rupture of uterine varicose veins during pregnancy and more particularly in the third trimester, is an exceptional cause of hemorrhagic shock by hemoperitoneum. Its diagnosis is difficult due to its rarity and the absence of specific signs. Maternal-fetal care must be immediate in order to reduce high fetal mortality and limit maternal morbidity.
