Summary:The recent reform of the 5.9 GHz by the United States Federal Communications Commission (FCC) provoked the need for lightening the load of a vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communications network based on Dedicated Short Range Communications (DSRC). We have collected mathematical analyses and numerical results supporting our proposal of lightening a DSRC network by prioritizing the transmission based on the risk of accident to which a vehicle is exposed.
