Summary:Summary / Article "Hybrid Warfare Instruments: Pro-Kremlin Propaganda "Alternative" Media Websites in Slovakia" was focused on the research of pro-kremlin propaganda portals in Slovakia, as one of the tools of complex hybrid war, which has become synonymous with Russian pressure foreign policy behaviour. The analysis has proved that Pro-Kremlin propaganda in Slovak online media portals constitutes a complex system of discourse themes and that it aims at manipulating public opinion in favour of Russia and Russian foreign policy. [...]two major topics appeared on these web portals during the reporting period: the question of Crimea (Pro-Kremlin "alternative" web portals do not use the term "the annexation of Crimea by the Russian Federation", but "voluntary peaceful expression of the will by the whole people in Crimea") and the question of mass migration in Europe. In the third case, Russia with a credible political leader vs. the West and its "puppet" political establishment, alternative Pro-Kremlin web portals argue, that while the political power in the West is controlled by political and financial elites, Russian society is united and backs the country's strong leader, president Vladimir Putin.
