Summary: | The relationship of users' characteristics toward the adoption of innovation is an important topic that is discussed by researchers in recent years. This paper aims to examine the relationship of significant characteristics of users; commitment to product field, innovation-related core benefit, expected financial benefit, and user-manufacturer interaction toward adopting the Low Loss Microwave Transmission Glass (LLMTG) innovation. These relations were found highly correlated in sustaining and enhance this industry which acts as the catalyst for innovation opportunities. Despite the indication provided by numerous empirical studies, the organization that stress on these factors and implements it will gain more competitive advantage based on the improvement in sales, products' innovation and achieved to being favored. As this paper is designed to identify factors towards sustaining innovative product, it is strongly believed that this attempt would contribute both to knowledge of the diffusion of innovation and to implications for practice by assisting the industry to understand more about the important factors when adopting innovation in general in particular towards achieving better product invention. Rich data will be collected using questionnaires in administering the survey among managers from all industrial in Malaysia. |
