Summary:In the third article, Tanya Wittwer brings us the fruits of a request by the 2015 LCANZ General Convention of Synod that CTICR (the Commission on Theology and InterChurch Relations) 'study the Lutheran theological and scriptural understanding of subordination and the role of male headship in marriage and the contextual implications for family violence.' In the fourth and final article, my curiosity got the better of me and I set off to the Lutheran Archives to delve into the history of the Theses of Agreement (ТА) which were adopted in 1956 by The United Evangelical Lutheran Church in Australia (UELCA) and The Evangelical Lutheran Church of Australia (ELCA) and which, with additional theses on the Church, were adopted in 1965 and 1966, paving the way for union and the formulation of the Constitution of the new Lutheran Church of Australia (LCA). [...]varying claims have been made from a diversity of perspectives regarding the formulation of ТА 6.11 and its status.
