Summary:The article that is presented is part of the problem: How to contribute to the improvement of the institutional management for the professional human development of excellence in UNIANDES-Quevedo?, posing as objective: to develop a model of institutional management to contribute to the integral human development of the professionals in an institutional climate of excellence. This research assumes various methods of science in which stand out: modeling, systemic, inductive-deductive, among others. The fundamental results are: the institutional quality management model to achieve the integral and professional development of students at UNIANDES University and the socio-institutional project that have been captured in a book. The results have been inserted in the formative practice of the institution.
