Summary:In the last decades we have witnessed a process of change that has highlighted gender issues in our society in the most diverse areas (Pan American Health Organization, 2007), which has proposed different modalities to give a solution to the problem of gender discrimination in relation to labor, specifically to the female gender, which will be addressed in this research. Lack of job opportunities for these young people can damage their self-esteem and employment prospects. Young people who are underemployed or unemployed people will have less money to spend as consumers, and also to save and invest to secure their future (International Labor Organization, 2009).
