Summary:This study case was made to describe the role of the psychologist in the investigation of the care transition from pediatric service to adult service in the cystic fibrosis service. The project is based on the health-disease model, that consists on a new vision of human beings, understood as a system that interacts in different biological, psychological and social spheres. The paper concludes with the relevance of research in the case of cystic fibrosis and the decisive and specific management of psychosocial aspects, associated with the disease condition role, in order to help the patient to have a better live.
