Summary: | NaBaPO4:Eu2+ luminescent phospors with enhanced dispesity are obtained by sol-gel precipitation followed by high temperature annealing in molten NaCl. The suggested approach involving annealing in molten NaCl provides NaBaPO4:Eu2+ phosphors with nanocrystalline structure, 3.8-fold reduced average particle size and 11-fold increased content of finely dispersed (less than 1 pm) fraction compared with a similar material synthesized without NaCl addition. |
