Summary: | Structural treatment of carbon nanotubes catalytic action on epoxy polymers curing process was proposed, which uses the fractal analysis ideas. It has been shown that as a matter of fact the sole factor, defining this process kinetics, is microgel structure, characterized by its fractal dimension. The most important conclusion from the obtained results is the fact that the dependences of reaction rate on structural parameters are described by the same correlation for epoxy polymer curing reaction in both carbon nanotubes presence and their absence. This means, that carbon nanotubes catalytic effect consists in microgels structure change. |
