Summary:The research aims to identify the original belonging to ecclesiastical libraries of XVI century editions from ecclesiastical libraries that were later dispersed in various libraries (Italian and foreign) following the suppression of religious orders that took place in different periods. The project involves the construction of a data base dedicated to ecclesiastical editions of the XVI century, autonomous but compatible with SBN, with records prepared according to RDA, and using linked data technology. The use of RDA will allow to describe analytically the attributes of the single exemplars; thanks to linked data technology, maximum interoperability of data can be guaranteed, making them available on the web. The survey on surviving exemplars, their provenance and previous locations will be carried out using the integrated RICI inventories as a starting point, with data from bibliographic and cataloged sources published and unpublished (catalogs and ancient inventories), and other archival documentation.
