Summary: | At European level, with the evolution of European policies appeared inquiries locally to standard indicators, allowing some degree of comparison between different cities and towns, as a complement to indicators of local specifically related to the problems of each locality and which differs from one place to another, from one country to another EU. Thus, it has been adopted a set of European Common Indicators (ECI). Short and medium-term effects of air pollution harms human health and harm ecosystems and economy. Long term pollution affects the environment through: greenhouse gases, ozone layer depletion, acid rain, the presence of micropollutants and suspended particulate matter. To assess the degree of atmospheric pollution, local pollutant emissions are calculated and it is determined ambient air quality. The purpose of this paper is to highlight people's perceptions of air quality, through a study conducted in 2015 on a representative sample. |
