Summary: | In this paper it has been analyzed the water quality from a total of nine wells located in Radovan village, as sources of drinking water from groundwater aquifers. For this, in 2012 there has been collected a total of 567 samples, monthly from March to November, analyzing the content of ammonium, nitrate, chloride, potassium, sodium, phosphate and pH. Analyzing the content of nitrates can be seen that, except well no. 1, in March and April in all other wells, to the data of determinations, nitrate content exceeds the maximum allowable concentration of 50 mg/l. So in 79 of 81 samples analyzed, nitrates are being recorded over the MAC, values registered being of 2 to 18 times higher as MAC. Ammonium cation is found in all analyzed waters wells below the MAC. Chlorides in groundwater were usually below the MAC, except wells 4, 7 and 8 located in the valleys, where they have exceeded normal values of 250 mg/l. The concentrations of potassium have values over 12 mg/l in water sources located on the slopes and on the valley thread. Phosphates have values below 0.5 mg/l, proving that phosphorus is entrained much harder on the soil profile. Regarding sodium concentrations, the values do not exceed the allowed limit values for normal conditions. |
