Summary:Objective: To study the effect of sandalwood essential oil on isolated ileum smooth muscle of guinea pigs and the small intestine movement function of mice. Methods: We used the experiment method of isolating ileum smooth muscle of guinea pigs and intestine propulsion of carbon ink in mice. We constructed the models of healthy mice, neostigminetrested mice and adrenaline-loaded mice. Results: Sandalwood essential oil had an inhibitory effect on the spontaneous movement of guinea pigs isolated ileum and an antagonistic action on intestinal spasm caused by acetylcholine, histamine and barium chloride (P<0.01). The oil was found to have a significantly antagonistic effect on small intestine movement in neostigminetrested mice (P<0.01). Conclusion: Sandalwood essential oil has an inhibitory action when the small intestine movement is hyperactive. 目的 观察檀香挥发油对豚鼠离体回肠和小鼠小肠推进的影响。方法 采用离体实验方法、炭末推动法,以正常、新斯的明负荷、肾上腺素负荷为研究模型。结果 檀香挥发油对豚鼠离体回肠自发活动有抑制作用,且对乙酰胆碱、组胺、氯化钡所致的离体肠痉挛有对抗作用(P<0.01),檀香挥发油可显著拮抗新斯的明负荷小鼠的小肠运动(P<0.01)。结论 檀香挥发油
