Summary:Studies about constructons of masculinites have become increasingly prominent among the gender studies, over the past decades. If feminist theories launched questons about the cultural constructons of gender in sexed bodies, about the historicity of sex, and on the instability and the eternal repetton and reiteraton involved in the learning of gender, studies on masculinites came launch issues on the diversity of voices, experiences, corporealites and male performances of gender, pointng to the multplicity of masculinites. This work aims to revisit and discuss productons about the male dancer, whose discussion turns to the relatonship between gender, sexuality and masculinites.
