Relationship of plasma big ET-1, NT-proBNP with in-stent restenosis in patients implanted with coronary stent ? / 冠脉支架植入后患者血浆big ET-1、NT-proBNP与支架内再狭窄的关系

Objective: To investigate the value of big endothelin-1 (big ET-1) and N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP) in predicting in-stent restenosis (ISR) in patients implanted with coronary stent. Methods: : Totally 261 patients who had undergone successful stent implantation and a further...

Summary:Objective: To investigate the value of big endothelin-1 (big ET-1) and N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP) in predicting in-stent restenosis (ISR) in patients implanted with coronary stent. Methods: : Totally 261 patients who had undergone successful stent implantation and a further coronary angiography (CAG) reexamination were enrolled in this study. They were divided into two groups based on the results of CAG reexamination: ISR group (70 patients) and NO-ISR (191 patients). Plasma big ET-1, NT-proBNP and other hematologic data were measured before CAG. Results: Plasma big ET-1 and NT-proBNP in ISR group were significantly higher than those in NO-ISR group (P<0.001). Before CAG reexamination, the best cutoff value of big ET-1 in screening restenosis was 2.03; the sensitivity and the specificity were 55.7% and 91.6%. The best cutoff value of lg NT-proBNP in screening restenosis was 2.72 (NT-proBNP was 624.0); the sensitivity and the specificity were 65.7% and 83.2%. Significant positive corr
