Summary: | Due to necessity, i could not attend our National Conference in Whistler, B.C., which became an opportunity for our president-elect, Lori Munro-Sigfridson and our new CEO, Melanie Davis to take the lead throughout the conference, i'd like to express my gratitude to Melanie and Lori, the staff of PHE Canada, the Board, Council of Provinces and Territories, and the Research Council for all their support of PHE Canada's mission and vision while planning and implementing such a successful conference by all accounts. Opportunities like this that allow us as physical educators, health educators and researchers to come together as members of a national professional organization to share knowledge and experiences, in order to support and promote quality physical and health education. Leaving We also hope each delegate left the conference inspired and motivated to continue to ensure that all Canadian children and youth have access to quality physical and health education programming and healthy learning environments, setting them on a path to a healthy and active lifestyle. |
